Speaking of Cruddy Robots…

This blog has noted with alarm the activity of Mad Scientist Simone Giertz, the “Queen of #$%^* Robots”, we now not Hebocon is the anti-conference for #$%^* robots.

(Perhaps, Giertz should vie for the additional title “Heboi Princess”.)

The idea of Hebocon is to create ‘heboi’ (crappy) robots, robots that don’t work, look and act stupid, and generally show lack of skill.

The competition is amazing!

Failure is always an option. In fact, it’s really the only option! At this conference, international collaboration leads to worse and worse results.

The spirit of Heocon is to try to lose.  In fact, the 2016 winner felt compelled to publicly apologize for winning!
