One of my own research principles is, “when studying computer movement, collaborate with dancers”.  Which I have occasionally be lucky enough to be able to do.

So:  you want to teach robots how to move?  Get some dancers involved.

Boston Dynamics has been doing just this, and the results are wonderful.

This month, they released yet another video demo.

Like every teenager in the world, Spot wants to perform just like the Stones. : – )
